Conditions that Allegra-D 12h should be taken with caution are: hypertension, diabetes mellitus, ischemic heart disease, increased intraocular pressure, hyperthyroidism, renal impairment, or prostatic hypertrophy. Pregnant or nursing woman should not take this medication as it can affect the fetus in the womb and it is excreted through breast milk. Under no circumstances should this drug be administered to children under the age of 12.
